戰神Treasure短片翻譯：Birth of the Beast

戰神一代的Treasure裡面，真的藏了不少的好東西。

有遊戲製作設計時的篳路藍縷，有因為時間不夠而被製作群含淚刪除的關卡和構想，還有一些製作群們所想到，卻沒使用的劇情設定。

我很喜歡這些製作時因為某些因素，無法得以呈現在玩家面前的東西，就跟我很喜歡許多麵包店都有賣的NG蛋糕一樣。NG蛋糕和戰神的Treasure，都非常零碎，但卻十分可口，而且會讓你吃完之後開始遐想這玩意兒如果真的做出來，那會是什麼樣子。

在巴哈討論戰神系列作品的時候，常常碰到有版眾無法理解Treasure裡面到底說些什麼的情況。

我覺得這挺可惜的。

於是，這篇翻譯文，和其他的戰神Treasure翻譯文就因此誕生了。也希望可以讓更多朋友領略到戰神的樂趣。

When men asked for the origin of Kratos, the true tale was never known. The truth is, that Kratos, like all man, began life as a child.

當人們詢問起克雷托斯的出身，真相卻總是隱晦不明。其實，克雷托斯，就跟一般正常人一樣，其人生從孩提時期開始。

A childhood in ancient Sparta was a brutal existance. Children deem fit and strong will trained to be warriors, the protectors of Sparta. The weaker children were caged, sent to the mountains to fend for themselves. They were no expected to survive.

古斯巴達人的童年殘酷苛刻。那些經評斷為強壯健康的孩子們，將被訓練為戰士，成為斯巴達的守護者。而孱弱體虛的孩子們會被關進籠子裡，送去群山峻嶺中自生自滅。沒人企盼他們能存活下來。

And while Kratos escaped the fate of the weaker children, his brother was not so lucky. The two once in-seperatable, went out alone. Kratos would become legend, but the story of his brother has gone untold.

雖然克雷托斯逃過了孱弱孩子的命運，但他的弟弟，卻沒這麼幸運了。昔日焦不離孟，絕不分離的兩兄弟，現在各分東西。克雷托斯將成為傳說，但他弟弟的故事，卻無人問聞。

A child left in the mountains, he had died years before. Coming of age in the under world, he had but one desire: revenge against the brother who deserted him all those years ago.

孩提時即被遺棄在群山中，他早在數年之前死去。於陰曹地府中成長的他，只有一個慾望：對多年來遺棄自己的兄長，報那一箭之仇。
